Meet the Sisters Behind Moon Tree Farm
Two hearts. Two skill-sets. One shared dream.
We’re Kira and Erin—sisters, former teachers, and now the co-creators of a soulful sanctuary for those who crave creativity, connection, and a slower, more intentional way of living.
We traded classrooms and city life for muddy boots, sourdough starters, and life on the land here in North Florida. These days, you’ll find us in the garden, surrounded by goats, horses, dogs, cats, chickens, wildflowers (or weeds, let’s be honest), and a whole lot of magic.
Kira is a former art teacher, professional artist, sound healer, bestselling author, and creative coach. She hosts retreats, teaches intuitive art and clay making, and believes deeply in the power of creativity to heal and transform. Her home backs up to a nature preserve where she hikes and trail-rides, cares for her quail and pigeons, and makes art supplies for makers around the world.
Erin is a former chemistry teacher turned gluten-free baker, yoga instructor, and homesteading mama. She lives just around the corner at our workshop location—a 13-acre hobby farm with her husband, two boys, goats, and chickens. She believes in feeding people well—body and soul—and has a deep love for healing, sustainability, and flower-growing.
At Moon Tree Farm, we host seasonal retreats, half-day experiences, and creative workshops for anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves and the earth. Through art, movement, breath, baking, ritual, and community, we’re here to help you grow something beautiful, inside and out.
🌿 With love,
Kira & Erin
And why a goat farm builds software
Erin and Kira run the farm. I build the software — and every piece of it began as something somebody in this family needed. The chore list on our own fridge became Teen Tab.
Grand Testimony was built so I could hear my dad’s story. Art Biz Project came next, on very much the same bones, for my uncle, who helps artists turn their art into income. It was going to put a great many agreements in front of those artists, and nobody was paying per signature to send them, so that became Herbie.
Once a thing worked for us, it seemed a waste not to let other people use it. Each one pays for itself, and between them they pay for a good deal of hay.
None of it is built in an office. It is built between feeds, tested on our own family, and used here before it is sold anywhere.
